Emiliano Gutierrez-Boviall Obituary, Death; – A 13-year-old boy from North Carolina was shot and killed following a robbery for a $50 necklace, as reported by authorities.
According to investigators, officers received the call at approximately 2:30 PM regarding an incident on the 3800 block of Sterling Pointe Drive on July 25.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered 13-year-old Emiliano Gutierrez-Boviall had been shot.
The young boy was transported to ECU Health Medical Center, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Currently, police have charged a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old in connection with the murder of the teenager. Due to their status as juveniles, the suspects’ identities have not been disclosed.
Court documents indicate that the teens shot Gutierrez-Boviall while attempting to steal a necklace valued at $50 from him.
