Blake passed away in early October 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by generosity, mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to the next generation of farmers and ranchers.
A proud advocate for 4-H and FFA programs, Blake spent years supporting young agricultural enthusiasts through hands-on mentorship, donations, and community involvement. As a longtime supporter and buyer at 4-H livestock auctions, he not only invested in the youth’s hard work but also gave back by donating all the meat from his purchased animals to local schools—ensuring students had access to locally raised food.

Through Montana Livestock Auction Co., Blake provided cattle and equipment for youth programs like the Sanders County Ranch Horse project, helping the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls develop their skills and confidence. Always willing to lend a hand, he volunteered his time as a judge at the Ranch Horse competition at the Sanders County Fair, where his kindness, encouragement, and patience left a lasting impression on every participant.
Beyond his professional life, Blake was admired for his humility, humor, and love for ranching. He embodied the true spirit of the American West—hardworking, kind, and deeply rooted in faith and family. His friends and colleagues will remember him as a man who led with his heart and inspired others to do the same.
