Kamaya Young Obituary, Death;- A young woman has tragically lost her life this past weekend in what authorities suspect to be a hit-and-run incident on Route 21 North in Clifton.

At around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 5, officers responded to a report regarding an unresponsive woman discovered along the roadside. Upon their arrival, police found 20-year-old Kamaya Young from Paterson lying near the northbound lanes. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but unfortunately, she was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities have indicated that evidence gathered from the location included various vehicle parts scattered on the roadway near where Young’s body was located. Investigators believe these fragments could assist in identifying the vehicle involved in the incident. Currently, no suspect vehicle has been identified, and no arrests have been made by the police.
