It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Morgan Capps, a cherished friend, devoted rider, and respected member of the Denver motorcycle community. Morgan tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident, and his absence is felt profoundly by those who knew and loved him.

Morgan’s love for riding ran deep. It wasn’t just a hobby — it was his passion, his joy, and his way of connecting with others. He was the first to send a message asking if you were free to ride and the one who’d light up the moment you said yes. His enthusiasm for the open road was infectious, and every ride with him became a memory worth holding onto.

He gave so much to the local riding scene — organizing group rides, helping riders new to the track, moderating online communities, and always encouraging people to get out to IMI. For those who were nervous or just starting out, Morgan was a calming presence. He had patience, kindness, and a way of turning fear into confidence. He didn’t just ride — he shared riding.

Those who knew Morgan remember him as a goofball with a huge heart. He could make a whole group laugh with just one well-timed joke. He knew all the best canyon roads, hidden turns, and scenic spots — and he loved showing them off. But more than anything, he loved being surrounded by people who shared his passion.

“I’m lost for words,” one friend shared. “We didn’t just lose a rider — we lost a brother. He left a huge void, and I’m going to miss him greatly.”

Morgan studied at ITT Technical Institute and ATP Flight School, and graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School. He brought dedication and curiosity to everything he pursued, both on and off the bike.

Though Morgan’s ride through life was cut far too short, the impact he made — the laughter, the lessons, the love — will never fade. His memory will live on in every road we travel, every story we tell, and every ride we take in his honor.
