Tyler D Weaver Obituary, Death; – The Forest City Police Department reports a man died from injuries after a home invasion on Friday.

Officers said they were called to respond to Harris Lee Drive around 9:50 a.m.

Tyler D. Weaver, 25, was found lying on the floor, and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services personnel determined he had succumbed to his injuries, according to police.

Officers said the wooded area around the home was extensively searched, along with the nearby neighborhood, and the suspect was determined to have fled the area.

Police report there is not ongoing threat to the public. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police department at (828) 245-5555.
