Authorities confirmed that 28-year-old Breanna Zhane Hunter (also known as Breanna Cook) was fatally shot early saturday morning in Cleveland.

Police reported that at approximately 7:19 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on the 1200 block of East Twenty-Fifth Street, where they found Hunter suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, detectives identified 31-year-old Troy Latrece Brown as a suspect and found probable cause to charge him with general murder in connection with the incident.
