It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Jason “Jay” Gardonyi tragically passed away suddenly on August 16th at the age of 42.

Jay was more than a chef; he was the heart of our kitchen and a cherished member of The Belmont family for over a decade. His passion, dedication, and warmth left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our hearts go out to Jay’s two children, Alissa and Max, and the rest of his family. As a devoted single father, his children were the center of his life, and he worked tirelessly to provide for them.
