The young woman who tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning in North St. Louis has been identified as 20-year-old Tori Dunn.

According to police, the incident occurred around 1:12 a.m. on August 16 in the 2500 block of North Grand. Dunn was crossing the street when a northbound vehicle struck her and fled the scene. Emergency responders transported her to a nearby hospital, but she sadly did not survive her injuries.

Investigators later located the vehicle believed to be involved, abandoned in the 3700 block of North Grand. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
