Nathan Heiberg, Lucas Heiberg Obituary, Death; – The Minnesota BCA has identified those involved in an officer-involved shooting in Moorhead on Monday night.

42-year-old Nathan Heiberg and 41-year-old Lucas Heiberg were killed. The officers who fired their weapons and are on critical incident leave are Michael Anderson, Kyle Seehusen, and Tyler Seehusen.

All are with Fargo Police and are members of Red River Valley SWAT. The BCA says it will not recommend charges against the officers. Police responded to an apartment in the 2400 block of Third Avenue North just after 8:45 Monday evening for a domestic assault.

The woman told officers that two men assaulted her and that there were two kids inside the apartment.

A gun was fired when officers started to go inside.

Red River Valley SWAT was called in and nearby apartments were evacuated.

SWAT officers got into the apartment and shots were exchanged.

Lucas Heiberg died at the scene, while Nathan Heiberg died at a hospital.

The woman and two kids were found inside the apartment unharmed.
