The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed that three men were found dead at a property west of Turtleford on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. All three victims died of gunshot wounds and are believed to have been targeted in a deliberate act of violence.

Authorities have specifically linked Paddy-Jimmy to the death of 28-year-old Tonio Cantell of Island Lake First Nation. Cantell’s tragic death is one of three in this case, and the RCMP continues to work on identifying the remaining two victims. Paddy-Jimmy, a resident of Thunderchild First Nation, was taken into custody on the same day the bodies were discovered. Her next scheduled appearance is set for November 13, 2025, at the Lloydminster provincial court.
