Michael Pickering Obituary, Death; – Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed when he was hit by a car in Colchester on Saturday night.

They say it was Michael Pickering, 52, of Colchester.

Police say a 16-year-old driving north on Malletts Bay Avenue hit Pickering. They have not released the name of the driver due to his age.

Investigators say Pickering was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash.

Police say the crash is still under investigation.
