Tragically, Shanel’s life was cut short in a violent and senseless act. According to authorities, Shanel was found deceased in her residence from fatal gunshot wounds. Also found at the scene was James Sanders, known as “Bubba James,” who was also discovered with gunshot injuries. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. While the loss is unfathomable, we will continue to hold on to the memories and lessons that Shanel gave us during her time with us.
