Authorities have identified the victims of a deadly triple shooting that occurred Sunday in the Lake Los Angeles area near Lancaster.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that Juan Arteaga Diaz, 44, Nazario Ramirez, 54, and Beverly Cassese, 65, were found with fatal gunshot wounds in two separate vehicles near 215th Street East and East Avenue Q.

Investigators believe the suspect approached the victims in his own vehicle, opened fire, and then fled the scene. A person of interest, Axel Abel Trevino, 32, has been identified in connection with the shootings. Authorities have not confirmed whether Trevino has been arrested.

The motive behind the attack remains under investigation as deputies continue to piece together the events leading to the tragic incident. Family, friends, and the Lake Los Angeles community are mourning the loss of the three victims while authorities work to bring clarity and justice.
