Baltimore Police Identify Victims in Recent Homicides

The Baltimore Police Department has released the names of three men killed in separate violent incidents across the city this week, as homicide detectives continue their investigations into the tragedies.

The first incident occurred on August 18 in the 2700 block of Manokin Street, where 28-year-old Wilson Marroquin Caceros was fatally wounded. Two days later, on August 20, officers were dispatched to two additional homicide scenes. In the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue, police identified the victim as 18-year-old Montrel Brooks-Davis. Later that same day, authorities confirmed the death of 25-year-old Levontaye Mullen, who was killed in the 2800 block of Woodbrook Avenue.

At this time, police say the cases are being investigated separately, with no immediate evidence suggesting a connection among the incidents. Detectives have not released any information regarding suspects or possible motives.

The loss of three lives within just a few days underscores the ongoing challenges Baltimore faces in addressing violent crime. Beyond the statistics, each name represents a life cut short and families now enduring unimaginable grief.

Baltimore Police are urging anyone with information to assist in the investigations. Community members can call the Homicide Unit at 410-396-2100 or provide anonymous tips through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP. Even small details, investigators emphasize, could prove critical in moving the cases forward.

As detectives continue their work, the city mourns the loss of Caceros, Brooks-Davis, and Mullen—three young men whose lives ended far too soon. Their families, friends, and communities are now left to cope with sorrow while seeking justice and answers.
