Tracey Harden Obituary, Death; – A woman from Lewes, identified by Delaware State Police as Tracey Harden, was killed in a crash on August 19 that also left three others injured.

Harden, aged 68, succumbed to her injuries after being transported to a local hospital. She was a passenger in a Honda CRV that collided with a Freightliner Cascadia tractor trailer.

The injured individuals included a 78-year-old man from Lewes who was driving the Honda, along with two passengers: a 36-year-old woman from Lewes and a 37-year-old woman from Jersey City, New Jersey.

The woman from New Jersey sustained critical injuries, while the other two individuals were reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the Honda CRV was traveling south on Harts Road when it halted at the stop sign at John J. Williams Highway around 1:55 p.m.

For reasons that are still being investigated, the Honda then turned left onto John J. Williams Highway, entering the path of an oncoming Freightliner Cascadia tractor trailer. Consequently, the Freightliner collided with the driver’s side of the Honda.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 64-year-old man from Bowie, Maryland, chose not to seek medical attention, as reported by the police.
