Authorities have confirmed that Jacob Angeles, who went missing after attending the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly on Saturday, August 16, has been found deceased. Angeles was last seen at the festival around 11 a.m. and did not return home later that day.

Police reported that Angeles’ body was located in Crawford County, Michigan. Officials said foul play does not appear to be involved, though further details have not been released as the investigation remains active.

Authorities thanked the public for submitting hundreds of tips, as well as the multiple agencies that assisted in the search, including the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office, and several local police departments.

Before his disappearance, Angeles’ vehicle, a 2006 Jeep Commander, was recorded on a FLOCK camera at the I-675 ramp to northbound I-75. His family and the Rockwood community are mourning his sudden and unexpected loss.
