Jeremy Thomas Obituary, Death; – The man shot at a St. Matthews apartment complex last weekend has died.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reported Saturday morning that 48-year-old Jeremy Thomas died on Tuesday.

He died from multiple gunshot wounds he sustained Saturday, Aug. 16, in the 800 block of Markham Lane, where the Jamestown Apartments are located.
St. Matthews Police Department officers rendered first aid on Thomas until emergency medical services could get there and take him to UofL Hospital, where he later died.

Neighbors said the apartment complex is usually quiet and has not had an incident like this before.

Police said all parties involved in the incident were accounted for.

An arrest has not been announced at this time.
