Known affectionately as “Wildman” for his spirited approach to life, Lee Traynham lived fully, with a passion for family, friends, and the world around him. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, remembered for his generosity, wisdom, and unwavering support of those he loved. His dedication extended beyond his family, as he was a strong supporter of 4-H and FFA, helping guide and inspire young people in the community.
Lee’s love for the Cayman Islands was legendary, and it was a place where he found true happiness. His family recalls his love for animals—both large and small—as a reflection of his kind and caring nature. Above all, he was a man who lived life with joy, integrity, and a commitment to helping others.
In his passing, family members take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife. They express deep gratitude for the love, lessons, and memories he shared. “Thank you, Dad, for all you’ve done. We’re sure going to miss you, but happy you’re now with Mom. Rest in peace, Dad. I love you. You are deeply missed.”
