Vista, CA – Authorities report that a man has tragically died following a single-vehicle crash near Shadowridge Golf Club over the weekend.

Deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station and first responders were dispatched to S. Melrose Drive, between Shadowridge Drive and Longhorn Drive, shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they discovered a heavily damaged vehicle with a man inside, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Preliminary reports indicate that the crash involved only one vehicle. Debris and broken concrete scattered across the roadway suggest a violent impact.
