Jackson Gartee Obituary, Death;- The motorcyclist who lost his life in a crash on Sunday has been identified as 21-year-old Jackson Gartee from Lincoln.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:26 p.m. near the intersection of North 90th and Adams streets.

According to preliminary investigations, Gartee was heading east on Adams Street when an SUV was making a turn onto the same street, resulting in a collision. The Lincoln Police have indicated that speed may have played a role in the accident.

Medical personnel provided assistance to Gartee, but he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. The driver of the SUV has offered to undergo evaluation by a Lincoln Police Department Drug Recognition Expert; however, authorities stated that there was no indication of impairment at the scene.
