Bobby Jonathan Terry Obituary, Death; – The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has provided an update regarding a motorcycle accident that occurred over the Labor Day weekend, resulting in the death of the rider.

As reported by officials, a 51-year-old man from Cleveland was navigating a curve on Southers Road near Ledan Road early Sunday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle.

“Deputies who were actively patrolling noticed a motorcycle lying on its side,” stated HCSO public information officer Derreck Booth. “He laid the motorcycle down, which then slid through the grass and collided with a tree.”

Booth confirmed that the individual was identified as Bobby Jonathan Terry, and his remains were sent for an autopsy following the notification of his next-of-kin. The deputies discovered the motorcycle at approximately 6:30 a.m.

“Currently, we do not have a precise time for when the crash occurred,” Booth mentioned. “Southers Road was closed for about an hour while the investigation took place, and this incident marked the second of two fatal accidents.”

Booth further noted that it remains unclear whether Terry was under any form of influence at the time of the accident. Given that this was the second fatal incident of the holiday weekend, he provided some advice for drivers.

“Simply adhere to basic traffic regulations; I am not implying that this gentleman did not … just remain vigilant,” Booth advised.
