Liberty Hill, TX, community is grieving after the sudden death of Brody Montes, a 19-year-old husband, father, and beloved friend. On September 3, 2025, Brody tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident, leaving behind a young family and a town filled with sorrow.

A Life Cut Too Short
Brody was raised in Liberty Hill where he became well known for his kind heart and hardworking spirit. He earned deep respect from peers and coaches as a member of the Liberty Hill High School Varsity Football team, a place where many remember him as both a leader and a teammate.

It was during those years that Brody met Emily, the love of his life. Their relationship, which began in freshman year, grew stronger with time, and the couple celebrated their wedding in February 2025. Just two months ago, they welcomed their son, Everett, a moment that brought Brody immense pride and joy.

Tragedy and Community Response
The accident has left Emily, now a widow at a young age, and their newborn son facing unimaginable grief and financial hardship. Family friend Dalaney Mangham has organized a fundraiser(GoFundMe) to help cover funeral expenses and support Emily and Everett as they navigate life without Brody.
