It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexis O’Conner, age 43, of La Canoa Road, Santa Cruz, who tragically lost his life on Sunday morning, September 7, 2025, in San Juan.

Alexis was a hardworking taxi driver, well-known by his community and passengers for his dedication, reliability, and warm spirit. Friends and neighbors describe him as a kind-hearted individual who always greeted others with a smile and was deeply committed to providing for his family.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Alexis spent his life rooted in his community, where he built lasting friendships and was admired for his resilience and generosity. His sudden and violent passing has left a void that will be felt deeply by his loved ones and all who knew him.

He is survived by family, friends, and members of the Santa Cruz community who mourn this devastating loss.
