Camryn Stonehocker Obituary, Death; – A teenager from Boone has been identified as the individual who lost his life in a shooting involving law enforcement in Greene County.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, 18-year-old Camryn Stonehocker led multiple police agencies on a vehicle chase on Saturday night.

The department reports that when Stonehocker halted and exited the vehicle, he approached the officers while armed.

An officer discharged their weapon at him, resulting in Stonehocker being declared dead at the scene.

The officers from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Boone Police Department who were present did not sustain any injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
