It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Caleb Guatemala, 18, of Watertown, Wisconsin, who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on the evening of Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the Town of Shields.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Caleb was traveling northbound on County Road Q, just south of Pit Road, when his vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees. Emergency personnel responded to the scene just before 6:30 p.m. His vehicle was found approximately 50 yards off the road in a wooded area. Caleb was pronounced dead at the scene.

Born in 2007, Caleb was a bright young man with a kind heart, a generous spirit, and dreams for the future that inspired those around him. He was a beloved son, friend, and member of the Watertown community. Known for his warm smile and gentle nature, Caleb touched the lives of many in his short but meaningful life.

His sudden passing is a heartbreaking loss to all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and remembered always.

Funeral and memorial service details will be announced by the family in the coming days.
