It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth Hutt, who tragically lost his life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 23.

Kenneth was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting near Bannister Road and James A. Reed Road in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident, which occurred just before 11:30 p.m., is believed by investigators to have stemmed from an argument—now recognized as the second leading cause of homicides in the city.

Born in 2002, Kenneth was a vibrant young man whose life was filled with promise. Though his time with us was far too short, he touched the lives of many with his spirit, kindness, and determination. Friends and family remember him as someone who could light up a room with his smile and who always stood up for what he believed in.

Kenneth’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
