Tameka Patterson,Nana Arthur Obituary, Death; – Two individuals lost their lives early Sunday following a head-on collision in Prince George’s County, as reported by the Maryland State Police.

According to state police, troopers received a call at approximately 3:17 a.m. regarding an incident on Maryland Route 4 at Woodyard Road in the Westphalia region, where two SUVs were involved in a head-on crash.

Nana Arthur, 40, from Upper Marlboro, was driving in the wrong direction in the northbound lanes of Route 4 when she collided head-on with another SUV, as stated by the police.

Both Arthur and a passenger in the other SUV, identified as Tameka Patterson, 46, from Suitland, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police reports.

Authorities indicated that they suspect impairment may have contributed to the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
